A Gentle Approach
Being fear free I sometimes look and sound a little different than groomers you are use to. I find a gentle approach is the best way of getting things done now and in the future. Providing a space that is friendly and approachable for your pet is very important in setting the mood for the entire experience. A little freedom, time and understanding can go a long way. Many of our pets find grooming uncomfortable and scary. My goal is to change their idea about these things and relate it to good experiences.
I take the time to allow your pet to acclimate thoughout the groom. My priority is getting their needs met while allowing them to have some control of the situation. I work with distractions and gentle control as much as I can as I work through the groom. Your pet deserves to have their emotional needs considered just as much as their physical needs. With my knowledge in your pets body language I will tell you how they really felt about the experience, so we as a team can always do what is best for your pet.

ABOUT ME
Hello, I am Jeanetta Day, "Nettie," and I am the owner and operator of Further Pet Care! I am Certified as a Veterinary Technician and am Fear Free Certified in both fields. Being a groomer with veterinary practice knowledge gives me a larger understanding of your pets grooming needs and challenges. I feel blessed to be able to spend my days doing what I love. I enjoy very much the opportunity to care for the needs of our fuzzy friends.
